Two Project Types, Same Tool

The CRM ships with two distinct board types tuned for two different workflows. Both share the same UI and views, but they live in separate tabs so customer work doesn't get mixed up with company operations.

Jobs (Customer-Facing)

Track work you're doing for a specific customer — installations, builds, repairs, onboarding, service delivery. Each job links to a converted customer record in the CRM. Default columns: To Do, In Progress, Review, Done. The customer name appears on every card and clicks back to the contact.

Projects (Internal)

Five Views, Same Data

Different roles want different perspectives on the same project. Kanban for stand-ups, list for bulk edits, timeline for scheduling, calendar for deadline-driven work, dashboard for status reviews. CrawlSpace gives you all five, and switches between them in a click.

Kanban Board

Drag cards between columns. Each card shows type icon, item number, priority badge, due date, assignee, tags, and subtask progress. Group by status, assignee, priority, type, or sprint instead of just status.

List View

Spreadsheet-like rows with sortable columns. Faster than the board when you have 50+ items. Bulk-update status, assignee, or due date. Inline-editable.

Timeline (Gantt)

Horizontal bars showing each item's start-to-due range. A red line marks today. Spot overlapping work, blocked dependencies, and impossible deadlines at a glance. Great for scheduling jobs across a crew.

Calendar

Monthly calendar with items plotted on their due date, color-coded by status. Click any item to open it. Useful for deadline-driven workflows like content publishing or event planning.

Dashboard

Stat cards (Total, Completed, Overdue, Progress %, Unassigned, Hours Logged), status breakdown chart, item type counts, recently completed items. Use this for standups and weekly status reviews.

Saved Views

Save the current view + filters + grouping as a named view. "My Overdue Tasks", "This Sprint's Bugs", "Q2 Marketing Backlog" — reload any saved view with one click.

The Power Features (Without Per-Seat Pricing)

Six Ticket Types

Task (default), Bug, Feature, Software, Milestone, Service Request — each with a unique icon. Filter the board by type to focus on, say, just bugs or just service requests.

Sprints / Iterations

Time Tracking

Set Estimate Hours per item, log Actual Hours as you work. The detail panel shows logged-vs-estimated progress. The Dashboard aggregates total hours across the project. Time entries support per-entry descriptions and dates.

Comments + @Mentions

Recurring Items

Set a recurrence rule (daily / weekly / monthly) on an item. When you complete it, a new copy is automatically created for the next occurrence. Perfect for weekly reports, monthly retros, recurring service work.

Status Automations

Each team member has a "My Work" tab in the sidebar that shows every item assigned to them across every project — both Jobs and Internal Projects. Filter by Open / Overdue / Due This Week / Completed. Group by project, priority, status, or due date. Click any item to jump straight to it.

It's the answer to "what should I be working on right now?" without making each person scan 12 different project boards. One unified queue, sorted by what matters.
